Hey guys! Since my internship with a graphic design organization in the local has ended recently, I have a bit more free time to work on other things. As a result, (and to not cut into my general project work time with Beyond the Fog), I'm opening up for commissions!

Took a bit of a break from project work during the holidays to rest up, and after some time, I managed to start production with Episode 4 of Beyond the Fog! Currently working on its storyboarding phase at the moment while also working with the environments. This one will sure be a task with interior art/design, but I am looking forward to how it looks in the end. I hope for it to be a step up from my previous works!

Also, I want to mention the huge support and feedback from episode 3. With how a lot of folks have shown interest in the series, that alone is motivating me to complete this franchise. Thank you guys so much (and also for the front page as well). With production being gradually shorter per episode, I'm finding much more efficient ways of going about production. I think that, if things go smoothly with animating, I can probably get Episode 4 out by May! We'll just have to see how things go in the future, but I am confident that I can work with this episode's tasks swiftly.

One more thing that I want to mention are side projects! I have some plans to try out another In Media Res, and possibly some other things later this year to help aid in grasping animation. Last years works definitely helped in that regard, so I think making time for those little things can help in the long run. Also, more info on Solace (the short film) will be revealed later as well! Don't worry, I'm still working on that.

With all of that said, I thank you folks for the continued support! Its tough to get through animation production at times, but seeing that people are interested in the works I create puts a smile on my face. For the future, I definitely want to continue creating animated series' and hopefully create some memorable films/shorts for you guys. I'll be sure to continue updating you guys on how production is going for episode 4, other projects, and more future plans!

Man, its been quite a year of both art and animations and the fact that a handful of you folks enjoyed both episode 1 and 2 of Beyond the Fog is stellar to see. This Friday will be the release of its third installment, and its basically all done at this point! Took about 5-6 months to do this one, and I feel a lot more comfortable with completing these episodes more efficiently. (Expect this one to be released around the morning time, EST.)

I should also mention the future for the animations I plan to do next year. For Beyond the Fog, there will be a 4th episode released sometime in the summer/fall with the short film Solace following up afterwards. There might even be some little treats spliced in here or there too (Maybe more In Media Res)! Art should also resume too given scheduling lightens up, and I also plan on showing a bit of behind the scenes stuff with BtF as well.

Nonetheless, the continued support with animations from you folks, whether it be by simply watching or supporting monetarily, is amazing. Rest assured, I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, and I hope to keep you interested!

Greetings folks! Sorry that I've been away for a while. Been focusing on getting the animated scenes in Episode 3 of Beyond the Fog finalized and polished. Making sure that I have plenty of time for post-production to prevent any delays in release. Speaking of release, I plan to get this episode out by the end of this year: December 20th! Less than two months!

In terms of progression, I basically have about 20 more scenes to complete, but its more of the dialogue heavy bits. The heavy stuff is already taken care of from earlier, so I should have a swift time getting the rest of these done. Hope you guys stay tuned! I got quite a bit in store for this series that I'm excited to showcase.

Yo yo! Just thought I let you know that production for Episode 3 of Beyond the Fog is going swimmingly. In fact, the storyboarding phase is complete! Now that things are laid out, we're heading into key animation territory. I'll be posting those WIPs occasionally here and on my Twitter page (https://twitter.com/9Hammer)

The brief pause in art was mainly due to the focus on this episode's storyboarding. Wanted to make sure that this is the best it can possibly be for the future! I'll also be posting some unreleased storyboards and animations later on as well. (Early posts for patrons) I'll resume with art fairly soon!

Hey folks. After taking about a week break from animating, I'm glad to say that production of Beyond the Fog's third installment has started! I'm genuinely happy that folks enjoyed and gave constructive criticism on the previous episode, and my goal is to make this series the best it can possibly be. I'll definitely be taking all of them into consideration.

At the moment, there isn't a definite date on when Episode 3 will be released, but gauging how may scenes there are with this upcoming episode, sometime around the end of this year (or the beginning of 2020) would be it's release time. Though, only time will tell how the production will go, but I hope for the best. To tide you over, I'll be showing off some WIPs/previews of some of the scenes within the episode once I get going with the key animation phase! (That'll be sometime this month after the storyboarding is finished)

Anyways, thanks for reading. It's a small update post, but the feedback, positive/negative, motivates me even more to continue with this story. It's a major passion project of mine that I want to bring into fruition, and I'm glad that folks are tuned in with it!

I've been extremely busy with backgrounds, animations, and contract work as of late, which is kind of why the time intervals between art pieces is quite large. Despite that, after I make a lot of progress on these sorts of projects, I'll return to art a bit! Anyways, here are the updates!

[Beyond the Fog: Episode 2] - If you've been following my Twitter account, I've been making stellar and efficient progress with episode 2 of Beyond the Fog. The light at the end of the tunnel is visible, and I just have a handful of cel animations to complete before heading into post production.

The plan is to release this animation by July 26th to both NewGrounds, then to YouTube! Don't want to spoil too much about it, but this next episode should be a huge step up from Episode 1 (Thanks to the critiques given). New faces will show up in addition to new voice actors! Additionally, the amount of background work in this episode was massive considering the surroundings. Here's a look at it:

Once the episode is released, more context will be given and this will all make sense. Regardless, I hope that you're interested in where the series is progressing!

[Solace - A Film by Nine] - I've been keeping this one on the down-low for a bit with updates, but story boarding is in full effect with this project! The bunny dude Hex will have quite a big animation encompassing him later in the upcoming year, and I'm just making sure things are prepared and in order before even considering animating. Best to have a quality product than a rushed one!

Regardless, here are a few story board frames. The rigorous background work from BtF will help immensely with this film and techniques will get better with time and execution.

I'll also show off some concept art in the upcoming future, but rest assured that this project is making steady progress.

Greetings. For those familiar with Beyond the Fog, the story-boarding for episode 2 is finalized and ready to be keyed/animated! Took quite a bit, but now comes the fun part. in this new episode, you'll see some new faces, music, and settings. Additionally, I've taken account the previous critiques of the first episode here, so hopefully when this releases, it'll be a noticeable step up from it's predecessor! I'm expecting to release the next episode sometime in the summer if all things go according to plan and I'll be showing off some WIP shots of the episodes (devoid of spoilers).
